Experience support, encouragement and learn valuable tips and ideas from qualified speakers and topics meant to help you with your mothering career. Mom2Mom is a great way to experience spiritual growth and mothering encouragement as you make new friends and deepen relationships with other women!
What is Mom2Mom?
*Mom2Mom is a ministry that desires to bring moms into a relationship or a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
*Mom2Mom is a ministry with the intent and purpose of encouraging, supporting, and challenging mothers. We choose to do that by bringing to the forefront God's biblical truths about mothering through our programming, special events, speakers, and care circle time.
*Mom2Mom is a ministry that strives to build a community of mothers united in the mission of raising the children God has entrusted to our care.
Who Can Attend Mom2Mom?
Mom2Mom welcomes all moms, regardless of their spiritual beliefs. However, Mom2Mom will only promote the Christian faith. Mom2Mom welcomes all moms regardless of their working status. Mom2Mom welcomes all moms in all seasons of motherhood.
What does Mom2Mom believe?
Mom2Mom believes that the Bible is the inspired word of God and is held as the final authority on all issues pertaining to the Christian life. We believe that Jesus is the son of God. He was conceived by a virgin conception through the Holy Spirit. He was fully man, yet fully divine. We believe that God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life and was crucified on the cross as an atonement for our sins. We believe that acknowledgement of our sins, the need for forgiveness, and the acceptance of Jesus Christ in our hearts is the only way to receive salvation.
What is a Care Circle?
Each Mom2Mom participant is placed in a Care Circle. This group of approximately 8-12 women supports one another each week through sharing stories, experiences and prayer requests. Most times, Care Circles are organized by similar stages of motherhood.
What is Lamb2Lamb?
Lamb2Lamb is the childcare program offered during Mom2Mom. While moms are being encouraged and challenged, in their roles as wives and mothers, children under 2 years will be cared for in the nursery rooms, and children 2 and older will participate in Bible stories, music and gym time. Children are placed in classrooms with other children their same age. Lamb2Lamb spots fill quickly, so please register without delay!
Benefits of Mom2Mom
Swap Shop
The swap shop is available to moms who would like to trade-in their gently used items for more useful ones. Think of it as a free garage sale! You don't have to bring an item to take an item, but we do encourage you to do so.
Hospitality
Each week you attend Mom2Mom you will be greeted by another mom that will be there to hold the door open for you and welcome you with a smile.
Speakers
Mom2Mom works hard to bring great speakers to our meetings. Many are nationaly known speakers and authors. It is a privilege for Mom2Mom to have a variety of quality speakers give presentations at our meetings. Therefore, we ask that you arrive promptly and avoid distractions (turn cell phone to vibrate, refrain from texting etc) during all presentations. Out of respect for our speakers, we ask that if the north doors of our meeting room are closed, please use the side doors to enter.
Food
Each Wednesday morning that Mom2Mom meets at Eastview, an array of food will be available. Your care circle will be asked to provide food/drink once each semester. Your care circle leader will notify you of the date and provide a sign-up sheet to facilitate this. Paper prducts will be provided.

Policies of Mom2Mom
Inclement Weather
In the case of bad weather, Mom2Mom may be cancelled. We make the decision to cancel based on whether Unit 5 schools are cancelled. We will post the cancellation on the home page of our website as soon as the decision is made.
Attendance
To get the most out of your Mom2Mom experience, try to maintain consistent attendance. However, we realize this is not always possible due to vacation, sick children, and the birth of a child. If possible, please let your care circle leader know in advance if your are unable to attend a meeting. If you choose to drop Mom2Mom, please notify your care circle leader of that decision out of courtesy to those waiting to be placed.
Care Circle Covenant
Your care circle leaders will have you read and sign a covenant that represents the values of your circle. A covenant simply means a promise, pledge, or oath. As a circle member, we feel it is important to enter into an agreement with each other so the values and expectations of your circle are understood and adhered to.
Fees
The current registration fees are $10 for mom, $5 for each child. There are no weekly childcare fees. Registration fees are expected at the time of registration and are non-refundable. For moms, these fees help cover the cost of speakers, programming expenses, and paper products. For children, these fees help cover wipes/hand sanitizer, snacks, curriculum, and a gift for all semester childcare workers.
Home Business Policy
If you have a home buisness, you may use the hand-out table located inside the doors of our meeting room to advertise. Feel free to place business cards, handouts or flyers on the table. We ask that you remove out-dated material. We do ask that the photo directory not be used as a data base for soliciting your home business.
Photo Directory
The purpose of the Mom2Mom photo directory is to help put "names with faces" and help promote a closer knit community of moms. It is not intended to be used a a data base for soliciting your home business, other organizations, or for fundraising.
